Are the blocks too big to pop the knots inside through a seam line?

I know my mom taught me that if you hold the "tail" and then just keep stitching over it as you go, it will hold in place. Make sense?

Are you embroidering on the top or are you wanting to embroider/quilt at the same time on all 3 pieces?

You can also leave a tail, do your embroidery stitching and then go back and weave the tail through the embroidery stitches. Does this make sense?

Yep...the way Terri described is how I do it too. Kinda how you do when you cross stitch.
