I do enjoy working on projects here at the forum with you folks. I've never done a mystery quilt and it would be fun!

We can sort of draw straws to see who makes the design and instructions. The design can either be created or a person can just use a pattern from a quilt magazine and keep it secret so it's a mystery to the rest of the folks.

I would be interested! I have not tried one yet, but am very anxious to try!

Cool! I sort of have one in mind for Christmas. I've got the pattern and instructions if anyone wants to leave it to me ...

    We'd be using Christmas colors.

I've always wanted to do a Christmas quilt. I'm doing my very first Mystery Quilt now, but it'll be done by September. Who am I to say I can't work on more than one project!

    Sign me up girls!

Mystery quilts are fun but I don't like one that is drawn out too long. Too easy to loose interest. This would be a good time to start a Christmas one so I say go for it.

I would be willing to do it and as far as I am concerned Cordelia can design it! Have lots of Christmas fabrics - smaller pieces, but can always buy more!!!!!! Got a new Christmas piece in the mail just the other day!!

I hate to do it ... but i have to open the trunk of my Quilt Police cruiser and pull out the wet blanket. :?

    maybe ...

you can't use a commercially produced pattern unless you get written permission from the creator and/or magazine in which it was published.

otherwise ... as long as the pattern and instructions are entirely "home grown" ... have Sherlock grab Watson to get the game afoot. :P

If we would have some time, not one of those that you have about a week to do from start to finish, I would be intrested.
