My profile picture is a project I did last summer, fall and part of winter (took me 5 months!) I was just going to make a quilt for my couch because it was looking a bit ratty and I didn't want to buy a new one. The project took on a life of it's own...I had so many hexagons leftover from the quilt, I quilted covers for the couch cushions, then the arms of the couch looked sad so I quilted them too...and so goes for the front of the couch and by the time I was finished, the whole couch was quilted.... I must admit that I am enjoying it!
