These are 3 more WIP's finished.
The first is Kansas Autumn for my mom. She has a 100 year old house. Her front door has an oval window that is very drafty so I have been making her quilts to cover the door. She grew up in Kansas, so I put in a sunflower and wheat field. The bottom right block is Turkey Tracks. Eventually I want to have one for each season.
The next two are a design that I created myself. I needed a quick quilt and decided to make a split rail. It wasn't big enough so I decided to add some plain blocks, that was boring to look at so I did HST's and went from there. I am currently making top #8 and have yet to have 2 alike. There are 2 - 3 points where you can make a design decision to create a different look. They are becoming a series.
I'll be teaching this for the guild this coming Saturday.
Thanks for looking.
