Hello, I am just curious about this boards history. Who/when started it, what prompted them to start it are they still around. I did a search but came up with nothing. Just wondering, the board is like trying to fiquire out the history of an antique quilt!

If you click on newsletter, there is a place to contact Admin. They can tell you more of the origin. seems to me it is in a newsletter someplace.

The original administrator is no longer with us as he decided to start a life outside of this board. Not sure if you will get the proper answer or not.

it all started waaaaaaaaaaaay back in 2006. our former owner/administrator created this place as an act of kindness to a friend with a passion for quilting. little did he know that 4+ years later we'd have grown to the size we are now. we more or less took over a big chunk of his life. :lol:

a few months ago, he sold the board to International Brands. he's embarking on a new adventure and we wish him all the best.

we miss him very much, but are being well cared for by our new owner. he spoiled us rotten, so they have big shoes to fill. :lol:

so far, i am tickled pink to confirm that TaliaRose and the tech team are doing a fantastic job. i predict that we will remain spoiled. :-)
