Hi GrannyQ, Any chance we could (I) see some close ups of the quilting? I'm at a loss when it comes to that part of the quilt--I would really love to try the way you are doing it but I'm very leery--I don't want to mess it up with a bunch of boo boos. I'm still trying to stitch in the ditch on another quilt and my stitching is really ugly. I don't want to send out another quilt to be done by someone else right now $$$$ if you know what I mean. I will take some close up pictures tomorrow. Here are 3 pictures. It will really be interesting to see how everyone finishes their quilt.

GrannyQ your layout is beautiful. I love the colors you chose. I'm with Anne-I think this is the way I want to do the finishing. I cannot FMQ and I can't do a large quilt on my machine. Anxiously awaiting more pics. Thank you for sharing this--it's a big help. You are doing a wonderful job.

GrannyQ - that is how I plan to do mine, but haven't picked the sashing fabric yet. I do have 75 blocks individually quilted so far. You have done a very nice job.

Hi Violet, Can you post some photos of the quilted blocks? I'm sure there are others besides myself that need a little encouragement to try to do it this way. Anne
