Monday, my sister and I rode out to the Denison Dam to see the bluebonnets, our state flower. They are spectacular this year, more than ever before. They even could rival those down Brenham way. The area around Brenham is famous for the bluebonnets and other wildflowers. I just wanted to share some of the spring beauty with all of you.

See the beautiful blue sky with those puffy white clouds? My idea of a perfect Texas day.

Beautiful, I see the wildflowers and wish I was back in Texas--then I remember the humidity. :)

OMG, that is so beautiful. Reminds me of the tulips in Holland and the fields of poppies in Greece. Thank you so much! I'm still waiting for my daffies to bloom :(

'Thanks for the memories'. We lived in Texas about 4 years several years ago. The bluebonnets are lovely this year! We are going for a visit in June and will miss them!
