I just think the quilt, and especially the table runner in this book Quilted De'cor is beautiful. I just hate to spend that much for a pattern. Is there a quilt block similar to this one?

Have you tried Cache Cow? They have hundreds and hundreds of block patterns free. I just printed off 12 blocks for a star quilt I want to make - happy hunting :-)

That really is a pretty pattern for the runner that is featured. Did you notice that its actually patterns for 8 different projects? It doesn't seem that bad if you divide the price by the number of project patterns you get.

    Loved the Cache Cow, too!!!

    :D :D

The block is a churn dash with a windmill in the middle. I don't think it would be that hard to draw on graph paper.

Don't know about the pattern, but the name really cracked me up...toadusew, as I was sounding it out I then burst into laughter.

Looks like you can make it with squares and half square triangles... draw it up on graph paper--not as hard as it looks.

Thank you. I knew if there were a way to be creative with it my quiltin' buds would find it. I have a feeling there are many of you who are much better at using graph paper than I am.

I just tried www.cachecow.com and came up with a very weird site. Do you have another address?
