Born in Enterprise Alabama, spent my childhood traveling with my Dad and Mom in the Air Force, settled in Phoenix, Arizona until I retired and then moved to East Tennessee, where I'm happily quilting away.

I was born in SW Wisconsin. Moved to SC Wisconsin at age 5 and now live 6 miles from where I was raised. Sounds rather boring, doesn't it??

Oh my where do I begin, born in chicago, illinois, my parents split up before I started school, dad took us kids to live in Mississippi where he was born and raised and his family all lived their. We traveled lot because he could not find work and because He couldn't find work, he left us with family members and went to baton rouge to find work then came and got us, lived their for a couple of years till my mom found us and she kidnapped me from my dad to get even with him, took me back to chicago to live, been here ever since, moved to suburbs met my hubs married had 3 kids and reside in wheaton, Illinois. Want to leave, but don't know where to go, i want to move to a warmer climate, but not florida, thought about arizona and new mexico, if you have any ideas please share. This has been a great forum glad it was started. Best wishes one and all.

My husband and I are native Coloradoans, although we moved a few times out of state. We have spent most of our time in Denver but now we live near a small town and we live on a small farm. I love it living in the country. We meet in houses for quilting, how fun to do.

I was born in Austin,Tx, but grew up and until 4 yrs ago lived in Salinas, Ca. You know, just 18 miles from Monterey. Now living in Pueblo, Co. Salinas is home. It's where I left my heart. My sisters and friends are there. I remember every street and every store and in memories and dreams, I am there. In my dreams, I walk the rooms of the house where I raised my children. When I am asked if I know of particular store, such as Safeway, in Pueblo, my mind's eye sees Safeway in Salinas. Pueblo is beautiful, but it has no ocean air. I am trying, maybe someday, Pueblo will be home.

Now, my husband can tell me where all the towns in WV are at an I know Oklahoma City, Biloxi and Orlando are but where is "Between, Georgia"?
Half way between Monroe and Loganville in Walton County. Also half way between Athens and Atlanta. We are about 25 minutes east of Stone Mtn off of Rt 78. I love posting "Between" because no one knows where it is located.
Kind of sounds like Tennga. I did look you up. Now I know where Between is.

I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany and went to Toronto, Canada in January 65 and in June 65 married my husband and moved to Mansfield, Ohio and raised our 2 sons here. I worked at the local bank in Mansfield for 20 years , retired and I am still here and loving it.

I was born and raised in Topeka,Kansas. Married there and all but one of our kids were born there. We moved to Winslow Arkansas where the youngest son was born. lived there and in Springdale, Arkansas until we moved here to Oklahoma about 11 years ago. I agree, Arkansas was the nicest place to live, was there 31 years. Our kids still think of that as their home state even tho only one of them was born there.
