Last week DH had to go to OKC for business meetings. For the first time I got to go!!!

Before we left my DH bought me another sewing machine!! It's a little Brother that weighs only 15 lbs! I was able to use it to sew on my bluebonnet quilt while there!

I met Zipit & we had a ball!! We went to Quiltzilla, Oklahoma Quilt Works, & Joanns. She also took me to the most wonderful Chinese Buffet!

I also had a good time with DH for the rest of the trip, but I wanted to share what I did quilting wise with ya'll.
Be patiant I have a lot of picts!

New machine!

I bought both of these for the backing for my bluebonnet quilt. I have decided now that I do want the swirley dots for the back. But the navy will be the binding. 5 yrds. of each!

W/ my Board Name Block!

Borders that the pattern calls for. Pattern is Happy Trails & I got it from Keepsake Quilting! I think this needs something. I bought some red at WM in Sweetwater. I'm thinking a small (quarter inch) border framing the inside
