These are a couple of pictures of a quilt top that is waiting for its back to arrive. It is a quilt as you go and the batting is already sewn in. I got the idea from this blog: http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...als-list.html. The Blog is 'Stitched in Color'. The plain colors are Kona Cotton and I just love the bright colors. It is going to be an 'after-surgery' quilt for next week for myself (making one for myself has only happend once before!) And, its easy and quick to make!

There are actually 16 different color sections.

What a great quilt!

Here's the correct link to the blog (you had an extra . in the link):
http://www.stitchedincolor.com/2011/...ials-list.html

I've seen similar ones, but they all had a common background.
I love the rectangle! blocks on bold background colors.

I hope your surgery goes well and you have a speedy recovery.

That is such a beautiful quilt and a great idea. It reminds me of mosaic tiles! So very pretty and a great way to use up scraps. Thanks for sharing.

What a pretty, quilted array of color, and what a great post surgery quilt to recuperate with! Good luck with your surgery.

That is really cool. It is like a collage but with fabric.
