I just saw this video about the Brother 6800 Limited Edition machine. For those of you who are interested in an embroidery/sewing machine but don't want to spend thousands of dollars, this machine might appeal to you.

At the end of the video George says the machine is available from him for $499. I have no affiliation..just thought it might be of interest to you.

Give the video a minute before the sound comes on.

That almost convinced me that I needed it! I'm just not sure how much I would use an embroidery machine though. The price makes it tempting! Thanks for the link.

I think there are two posts like this. I posted on the other one that the same machine appears to be available at Amazon, and that a review on the Amazon machine indicates the Brother SE400 machine is exactly the same (sans case) for $365.

On the video it appears that this is the Project Runway machine at Amazon here:
    http://www.amazon.com/Brother-LB6800...pr_product_top

And this is a link to the SE400 that seems to be the same machine, without case and Project Runway on it:

I'm no expert on this!!! Was just curious to see.......

Yep you really have to know what you are buying. All Brother embroidery machines are not in the thousands.

I just this afternoon went and bought a Brother SE400.
It looks like it has all the same functions that my
Viking has and I paid thousands for it.
