DONE....MIL Betterfly quilt
#1
Most of you have seen this before. I posted the top asking for suggestions with borders. Thank you to all who helped. I also posted some pictures showing some of the quilting. I was able to finish this before leaving for vacation but due to a thunderstorm I was unable to post the pictures.
I will be giving it to my mother in law in about a week when they get back from vacation. I hope she likes it.
The quilting designs are made from stencils that I purchased at Wal Mart and I came up with a design for them.
The pattern of the top is called A Little Romance from the book "Strip Delight" by Suzanne McNeill.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I love it!! beautiful - did you hand and machine quilt, or do it all by hand? I particulary like the border around the back. I've never done that and it sure adds some pizazz to the back! I'm going to have to try that on one. Nice work - I'm sure Louise will love it.

It is all hand quilted. I used a hoop and quilted when watching TV.
I did the border thing on the back b/c I did not have enough of the pink fabric to cover the whole back.
Thank you all for the lovely comments.
