One of my board members and I had been talking at our annual Christmas party and she mentioned she had an antique baby quilt. She has had it for over 20 years and it was purchased from a reputable antiques auction house. It is an 1880's baby quilt all hand stitched in fabulous condition. I told her I would love to see it. Well she brought it in yesterday to show me before our board meeting and I thought it was beautiful. She told me good because now it is yours. I was stunned and amazed! Here are pictures of it-I truly am blessed!

It's stunning and to think she just gave it to you for being her friend.

I'd try and get that quilt appraised for ins purposes. If I remember correctly a lady on this board had a fire and lost several of hers. I'm not sure if she had them insured or not.
