Sorry, but I will not be able to participate. Just don't have enough time to get one done with my trip coming on Monday and then the following week, the packers being here.
I'm going to miss April and May, but hopefully I'll be able to do June.
Just so sad....my poor little babies being packed up in a box all dark and alone..........:( :( :(
tlrnhi, I would be willing to make your dq for April and May so you can stay in the swap. I know how hard moving is and I think receiving the dq for April and May would be good for you during an otherwise very stressful time. Besides, I have more ideas floating around in my head than I know what to do with, AND I need all the practice I can get. :-) Deal?
Well, Brenda...this is none of my business...but I just had to comment...that is the sweetest offer!! You are a very thoughtful person :)

God bless you Margie

Brenda, Thank you for your kind offer, but I don't have an addy close by to have anything sent to. I am having the IRR centers sent to Mimisharon only because she will be on our way and if I don't stop to see her, I think she might "hurt" me. lol
I am closing mail delivery to my house on April 10 and everything will be forwarded to my daughter in Alabama. I don't really get that much mail, so it's not a big deal.
But again, thank you for the offer.
I'm sure Chele could hook you up with 2 people to swap with.

62 swappers so far! Yay! Sign up closes Wednesday, March 31. I'll direct you to your partner after that date.

On a side note, I was going to save this for our one-year doll quilt swap anniversary in May, but I'll start promoting now! I'd like to challenge or encourage all of you talented doll quilt swappers to make a quilt for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI). You can read more about the organization here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-40843-1.htm#907372 or here: http://www.alzquilts.org/

Thanks everyone!

What size quilt? You dont mean a doll quilt right? Like a lap quilt or bigger? Sorry I am not sure what you mean.

Margie

You can count me in for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI). My mother-in-law suffers from Alzheimer's and I am happy to make a quilt for them.

Count on me also for a Alzheimers Quilt donation. A very dear friend is also suffering. Suz

Thank you 978gray and Suz! I think you will have fun making a mini quilt for this great cause. All of you doll quilt swappers are so talented, I knew you would share your talent to raise money for Alzheimer's research!
