Hi everyone. I know that there is a post already by turtlerouge about helping adriansmom (Cathy) but I thought I would put out another post just in case you missed the first one. It suggested gift cards, and I know that some of us are having some cash issues these days, but I thought that we might have some duplicate items we would be willing to share. We could make up a "care package" and mail it to Cathy for a minimal cost - and yet help cheer her up and make things a bit easier for her when they do get to go home (they are in an apartment right now).
Anyway here are a few things I have thought of:

Rotary Cutter
Blades
Ruler(s)
Cutting board
Squares
Books
Fabric
Yardage
Fat Quarters
Fat Halves
Scraps
Squares

Thread
Pins
Hand sewing needles
Marking pencils (chalk etc)

I have her address - so if you are interested - you may send me a private message or go to turtlerouge's post as she entered the address there.

Hi Rein, Is ver thoughtful of you to think about helping. I have a small group going on right now getting organized to send her a few things. She will be offline until Thursday but I "spoke" to her last night. She is in her new apartment and is ready to receive items.

So far I have arranged for her to receive a sewing machine, some fabric, rotary cutter and blades, fabrics on her favorite colors, pins, basic rulers, etc. Someone offered to send her $ to get herself a cutting mat she can get localy, since a large one will be hard to mail. Most people will add some fabric to the boxes as stuffing. The only book I have found for her is Fat Quarter Fun. Please PM me if you want any more information.

Maria

It's nice that people are listing what they're sending so no one sends duplicates.
