I have been following the progression and know that I am far away from being able to tackle a bargello quilt or wall hanging. My hat is off to you!

Alright! I got more tubes made but really have no idea of what sizes I need to cut them, so I'm going to lay it out and start working on my Main Focus. That way, when I run out of strips already cut, I can just go cut what I need.
Here's what's on my kitchen floor right now, my Main Focus that I'm going to work on. I guess it's time to start taking apart more seams. Wish me luck!

Here's what I'm doing now. I'm just laying out new strips on top of the old ones so I can see what it would look like.
I've decided to make it to look like a picture that I saw.
The picture is on page 6, the 3rd picture down. I think it is looking great so far. I like it!

Wow--I just found your thread and have really enjoyed looking at your bargello pics. I have no desire to ever make one--my little pea brain just could not handle it---but I love looking at everyone else's work.

Your quilt is going to gorgeous---keep posting pics-it is so fun to watch your process.

Beautiful BUT.....Be sure to sew up one way... and down the other... so your material won't stretch and get wavy. I know. I did that in my excitement. Sigh....just a word to the wise. Your colors are beautiful. Have fun.

WOW......I didn't look further down......Your quilt is gorgeous! Apparently you do sew the correct way!!!! I just love it. You are the talented one!

Thanks for the good pics- I can finally see how that would work out. I had thought the colors had to be gradated but i can see the contrast is great
