Hootnannie, thanks for the link. I printed out all the pages as well to go inthe folder with the machine info.

Nett2, I love your "new" machine, especially the FOOT pedal! Thanks for sharing.

Nancy, here is more info for you on the 66's. I have two 66 machines dated 1921 and one has the back clamp and the other has the side clamp. The one with the side clamp came with an add on stitch length reg. If you remember when I posted a picture of the machine we all wanted to know what that ugly thing was on the front of the machine. I also have a 66 dated 1916 with back clamp. I have another 66 dated 1919 and it has a back clamp. Then I have a Lotus and it has a back clamp dated 1910. Add these to your list so we can keep up with all the dates.

Look at what info comes with it. It's nice to see that someone saved all the paper work.

Well the whole purpose of this shop is for anyone who likes vintage machines can come on in pull up a stool and sit back and talk about them. It is a friendly laid back place to hang out and I want everyone to feel like family. You know some of the the things that we talk about might not be "museum quality" and we might have a few things wrong but by golly we are learning just like the next person. This is not a stuffy gallery, this is an old timey sewing shop where you can kick your feet up and just shoot the bull.

Not only that Billy, but, this shop is family as well as an educational place. We are all teachers and at the same time students. This is a very kind and caring place to be. This is a wonderful place to be and I thank you and everyone else here. Kathie
    Amen to Family and Friends.

I really like Redeyes. Beautiful machine and I can't wait until she has an application of cleaner and liquid gold. She'll look amazing.

My gma had a redeye and I loved going down in the basement where I pretended to sew. I was always the curious one that got into more trouble because of my inquisitiveness (or orneriness). LOL.

Too bad that beautiful Davis VF isn't on this side of the pond. :(

This is as good a time as any to say that you should take anything I say with a grain of salt--I am wrong as often as I'm right, and appreciate it when someone points it out to me. Although, as I am suffering from CRS, I won't remember it next time around, either.
I belong to several different SM lists, but have been hanging out here because I'm looking for a more "informal" atmosphere. (I must admit that I also "feed" off the excitement of those new to collecting!) This is a hobby for me, one I've shared with family and friends and one that has been a wonderful diversion through some really rough times, but is certainly not the most important thing in my life.
So--entertain me some more! I love hearing about all of your "new" machines!

I agree totally. We are all human and we all make goofs. I have it extra hard (lol) because I'm a senior and also a blonde so you may have to cut me some slack sometimes. hahaha
I love this list and I also love seeing others getting involved in saving the old ladies cause someones gotta take our place when we can no longer fight the fight.
