All credits go to Danmar for designing and creating Swish. http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-45289-1.htm
I am making my Swish Bargello from her pattern. I want you to see it finished too but I just have to show you what this pattern is creating for me! I think I could name it the
'Dizzy' Swish Bargello. It has ripples everywhere! The fabric is flat on the floor in each of these photos. I will show it again when I have it finished. /Thank you for looking.

What a fantastic job you did. Can't believe the 'movement' factor. Looks like water waves.

wowee!! Great job so far!! Maybe we should call these 'Baby Swish' LOL I crack myself up!! :) :) I love the colors you chose, I cannot wait to see the whole thing. How were the instructions, would they be easy to do for a bargello noob?

Thank-you. I started cutting my 2 1/2" strips July 17, 2010. I have logged my hours but I don't have my notes in here right now. It will take 27 hours to seam the total 54 rows that make the quilt. (I have about 18 to go before I am done). (((((I am not including my unsewing in the count!)))))
I have worked 8, 10, & 12 hours a day on some days and skipped some days for life and family activities.
It has been amazing, scary, exhilarating, mystifying, addictive, awesome, and so much more. I told myself I would never be able to make something as beautiful as the photos of Bargello's I have seen. Danmar's Swish pattern made it possible for me to do it. Now that I know where my colors will fall I can get some fancy fabric and do another one!!!!!!!!!!!
