I am working on a log cabin quilt set on the diagonal and would like some quilting pattern ideas. This is only the fourth quilt that I have attempted to quilt.

Beautiful quilt. I am still in the process of my first Log Cabin. I will be looking for quilting ideas along with you!

I love your fabrics and colors. I haven't quilted one, but it seems they are often done with stitch in the ditch. :D

Sorry, no ideas but I love your quilt & the fabrics you used! Maybe you could search log cabins & see what kind of quilting was used.

Welcome from Idaho! Because a log cabin has all rectangles and squares, I would do something with movement. For example Circles, Swirls, feathers or a meander. I wouldn't SID, but that is just me.

Welcome from Texas. No ideas to contribute, but compliments on your quilt. LOVE the colors and the way it leads the eye.

I don't want to do SID. I tried that one the first one I did and don't need to try it again for awhile.
