This is just two pieces of whole cloth that I made into a reversible quilt for my mother for Christmas. I loved these fabrics when I saw them and wanted to sew something with them. It hit me to make a quilt for Mom. As I do, she loves sewing and she loves Christmas. I've made lots of table runners and wall hangings, but never an actually quilt sized quilt. Tada! Thanks to this forum for the encouragement and inspiring threads. It should probably be named Broken Rules since I think I broke most quilting rules in the making of it. But it turned out exactly as I envisioned it...a nice shocking surprise...so, rules be danged! Thanks Mom for teaching me to sew when I was young.
