    Hi!

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner every month. The person you send to is different then the person you receive from.

You do need to send me a PM every month, as I cannot keep track very well of people signing up for more then 1 month. Please don't post a message on the thread about signing up, as I may not see it.

I would prefer that you resend your info, as I make minor changes to the forum each month, but it is not necessary.

If you would like to do it, please send me a pm with this information. If you are international, feel free to join!

if you are interested in joining, please send me a Private message with the following information.

    Screen Name:
    Real Name:
    Address:
    Favorite Colors:
    Favorite Candy:
    Your favorite notion/fabric line, etc:
    Your least favorite color(s)
    Least favorite candy
    Least favorite notion/fabric line
    Brand of sewing machine:
Is there anything you like to collect?
Besides quilting, what do you like to do?
    Allergies:
    Additional Information:
    Email Address:
    Can you mail international?
    Favorite thing:
    Least favorite thing:

This form will be given to your secret pal. The more you put on there, the better she/he will be able to get things you'd like. Additional information may be helpful to them as well.

There is a 10 dollar budget for this swap. The 10 dollars can, or cannot include things from your stash. Postage isn't included in the ten dollars. The most important thing to remember with the budget is to have fun, but please don't spend a lot more then 10.

If you want ideas on what to send, look at the previous swaps. Things that are always fun to get is fabric, notions, notepads, pens, little thing like that.

Sign ups will close the 5th, and names will be paired on the 5th and sent out by the 7th.
Packages need to be sent out by the 25th if you are in the United states and are sending to someone in the US. If you live international, or are sending to International, please send by the 20th. Send it as early as you'd like!

Thanks for all the people that are signing up. I really want to stress that if you sign up, please, PLEASE follow thru. It's a horrible feeling to not receive a package. I will be keeping a list of people that don't follow thru and they will not be allowed to participate in any of the secret swaps that I will be hosting. Sorry to be hard nosed but it's not right and it's been happening a lot here lately.

Please have a look at this thread for any questions about swaps.

I'm new to hostessing this swap so please bear with me.

I just wanted everyone to know that I will do my level best to be a great hostess. Several of us signed up to do it but when I saw it was getting later, I went on ahead and started the October swap thread. Please know that we will most likely take turns doing the swaps or I can continue if the others want me too.

I'm off the internet for the night, so if you don't hear back from me tonight, don't worry, I will see everyone in the morning.

Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much for taking this on! It is a huge task but looks like it was a ton of fun. I'm new to the board and was so hoping it would continue so I could join in the fun. Thanks again!

Not a bad idea to take turns on hosting the swap.
