I know this has nothing to do with quilting, but I wanted to share a photo of my newest acquisition: a Manx kitten that my sister found for me in Panquitch, Utah. She's full of energy and loves to play. By the way, that's my sunflower quilt I was inspired by this site to create. I'm in the process of handquilting it and am ready to start on the borders. I'm thinking leaves, any comments or suggestions? In the 2nd photo is a pillow top that I picked up at a thrift store for .50 and finished making a pillow for my DH. I used scraps from my quilt border to make the back and it looks pretty good.

Be prepared for the biting and kicking, she's in the play mode until she just drops from exhaustion. My first set of scabs is just about healed up, just in time for a new set (LOL). I do enjoy having her around, she makes us laugh with all her funny antics.

Now heres an idea, how about cat quilting around the boarder to always be a part of your history of when you first got you little one...:)
