Dear Fellow Quilters, We are going to Florida at the end of the month. St Augustine, then driving down to Naples. We have almost two weeks there. I am getting very excited, I have never been to Florida, and since there is over a foot of snow that I woke up to this morning, I can hardly wait! For those of you who have been, or live there, please tell me where are the must visit places. I have saved some $ to spend on fabric, is there anywhere special you could tell me about?

Went to St. Augustine and Naples years ago. Saw the fort in St Augustine because the kids were younger but my favorite place was Naples. Be sure to go to Old Naples. Not sure about quilt shops as I wasn't into quilting at the time but the Art galleries and boutiques are really nice. A lot of places to eat. Also go to Tin City which is on the water(if it is indeed still there). I guess you could go online to see what they have there for more information. Hope this helps you.

Google "Naples fl quilt shops" and three come up. I always do this when I am going to be traveling. We are going to Naples in about three weeks, so I will be checking these out.

We spend half of our time in Stuart, Fla...it is on the Atlantic side and it has a shop, The Jam Patch that I think is one of the very best, 2nd only to Keepsake Fabrics in New Hampshire that I have ever bought from....if your near West Palm Beach or Vero Beach, Stuart is between, go by, its easy to find and very well stocked....memepeggy

The Quilt Place in Rockledge, Fl. near I-95. Has 10,000 bolts and the best customer service.
