My cat's name has changed from "Hank" to RK. (Road Kill) Too much turkey?

Before anyone accuses me of animal abuse, I've had him (rescued him) for 14 or more years. He has FIV (feline aids) and was in a cage at DD's vet hospital for 4 months before I said to bring him home. He's a neighborhood favorite and had claimed or rural road (I'd look out my window and see car brake lights come on when there was nothing to slow for - except Hank).

Never been sick a day, never lost an ounce either tho we are very careful with this "delicate" kitty's health. He doesn't just lie around. he "flows" over a surface!

Anyway, just had to share and his unique method of drinking!

...And what Clyde thinks of it!

RIP Hank

Is he done with my water yet?

My friend's cat Otto does that with his water also. I have no idea why. RIP Hank, you look like you were a wonderful compantion to those who loved you.

P.S. Clyde needs another furbaby for company!

Cats can't see still water so they often feel it first. Mine weren't drinking enough so I bought a water fountain. All 5 love to drink from it- of course it has a filter and is ceramic because plastic gave one of mine acne of all things. They eat out of crystal bowls but simply because some one should use them and we don't :)

Actually my other cat is a scrawny, long-haired gray, hyper-thyroid, toothless, matted-furred 12 year old! His name is Platinum (yeah, right. What a treasure!) Again - he's brushed every day, gets small bits of food often, is on medication for the HT (not making one bit of difference). He's a love and enjoys parking himself in a door way. He knows Clyde is afraid to pass !

Cyn, that's what I wondered. Thanks!

Looks OK here, but its all hair! You can cut yourself on his backbones!

Actually looks decent here!

NO-O-O! I'd never post a pic of a dead cat! It just looks like he is! Trying to cool his belly I think. He's over 20 lbs and doing fine!

Oh thank goodness!!!!
No, I didn't think you had a pic of a dead cat- I just thought that was him before.
I'm so glad he's doing fine!
Kitsie, you are a very special person to take that little guy into your home and heart :D:D
