Today's project. The flannel and jeans were very easy to work with. I did use Jean Thread and also a needle that is for jeans. Worked like a dream. My husband asked me to make a quilt for his brother for Christmas...I just had too much going on. I am making this for his birthday less of a rush and no stress.

he's really lucky. It looks really warm and right now everyone wants warmth. I always wanted to make one of these from scraps. A go cutter would make short work of this.

I cut the pieces on my Accuquilt Go and sewed them all today. It was fairly quick.

My son called the other day while laying in the hospital. He broke his Tiplia while playing basketball against the officers...so glad it was that in stead of an accident or being shot...anyhow...he came through the operation with a plate and 8 screws. now for recovery time. 3 to 4 months....so hope he still can be transfered to Boston....CA is so far away. Any how I am giving him this quilt since I want to get one to him quickly. I went and bought Redsox fleece, no batting and did the pillow style quilt. With him in CA its not that cold so did not use batting in this one. He already had one from Christmas with batting. Hope he likes it. I am debating on how I should FMQ since there is no batting. I don't know if it would make a difference once washed. Oh...and from now on...I am going to have a few tops on hand. That worked out perfect having one that I could quickly finish.
