I am making this for a customer. She loved the one I did for the school and wants one just like it. She has her DGM & DMs' clothing, a curtain that her & her sisters had in their room, aprons, her childrens clothing ,etc. Some cotton & polyester. Hope this helps to spur me on.Hope my quilting has improved since then too. I am having a hard time ,just blindly pulling it out of the paper sack. So here goes.....It's Bonnie Hunters' Strip Twist ...http://www.quiltville.com/striptwist.shtml She has the best tutes and wonderful pic and step by step.

I love Bonnie's patterns!

I have that dark green paisley print in the fourth picture. It's been in my stash since 1995!!! It is the fabric that I talk about here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-98576-1.htm#2494234

LOL

What's even funnier is that I recognized it FIRST from it's backside in the second picture! LOL LOL LOL

That's how familiar I am with that fabric! :)

cool idea. Do you have all the strips in one bag or 1 dark and 1 light bag?

Yes, but now that you mention it , it would be easier since I'm chain piecing light & dark strips to have them seperate. Thanks
I love all the ideas and suggestions, keep'em coming, please

Here is a little progress on the quilt. As I was chaining , it looked like it was going to read blue, NOT  I love digital cameras for this reason, it looks so different in pictures and you can see your mistakes  well sometimes anyway.Have about 3 more rows, will try for a balance on the colors of the rainbow;2 each and black, white & brown also.
