Shouldn't this be in Links and Resources? I can't watch Youtube as my computer is too slow, so I avoid even bothering to try. It is disappointing to get into something that initially gives no indication that it is Youtube. I was looking forward to reading about something that sounded interesting. A waste of time.

Would using furniture fabric for the binding work with this method? it would be strong so it would last longer. Just a thought...instead of using double binding.

Sorry you are upset...I am just trying to be helpful and sharing some interesting and good videos for others to also learn. I know that when others find good tutorials it really has helped me. I find videos are easier than pictures though I do learn with both.

So she is measuring out 3/4" from her 1/4" seam allowance? And is it batting only or fabric and batting that is cut together at 3/4"? It is interesting. I use both the mitered method and the "backing folded over as binding" method.

I read this thread and left but came back.

Maybe this should have been posted in Links and Resources-maybe not-it is a Tutorial, afterall.

Sorry you feel you wasted your time clicking on this thread and seeing you wouldn't be able to view it-that's 5 seconds of your life you'll never get back. This board wouldn't be much if the members didn't try to help each other out-in fact, probably a waste of everyones time.
