Better Binding Basics

Thank you v ery much for this tute. I have it bookmarked, as I have most trouble with bindings.,and most of all trouble with the corners... my quilts have been almost ruined because of this horrid problem of binding....now I hope for the best....

I love how you store your binding strips. So pretty. Just want to add one comment though. Either store fabric with your project until ready to make binding or identify the binding that you have already made. Sure helps so you avoid coming across the intended fabric in your stash and using for another project. I guess you can tell, that has happened to me.

I pull up the following tutorial every time I finish my binding tails off. One of these days I'll have it down pat, but until then, these pictures make all the difference!

I have two jars, one for quilts in progress; those are labeled with tags, the other jar is plastic and holds all my leftovers. I pull out coordinated colors for scrap quilts.
