Omg. I made one block yesterday. Took almost 3 hours. Mostly un-sewing.. Seems I could not pick up the pieces from the design board, carry them to my machine and sew down the right side... Then wondering just how I scouts have sewn the wrong sides of the strips together. Next one has to be so much easier. Just could not make a second one yesterday . . Wondering if anyone has days like this.

I so much want to make this quilt, however I am not so sure I want that large of blocks. Would you think I could start with 8 inch squares and adjust corner blocks to fit? Just a thought.

I've watched Jenny's video and can't see how not to loose the points on the large star. Mind sharing how you did this.

I hope I did not offend in my reply. I wanted to answer the original question. I didn't mean to reply to another's answer. This is my first post to this forum and not sure I did it correctly.

Love the colors u choose, I have the pattern to I order it from MCQC a while back, have half of it done, mean all blocks r done but only half r sew together. I have done my in 3 shades of blue w/ white background. going to be pretty when done, but working also on lap quilt I bought pattern off another web site. nice going mine is going to fit my queen size bed when finished hopefully.

FYI - there is an error in the instructions- see under Method: Blue/red blue white red/white (you will have 2 sets of .....) Only one set of each combination is required. Really had me going for a while until I went back to the video. Other wise great tutorial! AM having fun putting this quilt together.
