Dotty one is NEVER too old to learn new ideas. Thanks for sharing. I can picture quite of few of these being made. I have 3 daughters, so a lot of sewing for me!

Love this! I've got the materials to make one similar but really like the way yours turned out. Thanks for sharing.

That's neat!!!! I wish I could start one right now. I have twin girl grandchildren, and they would love this. I just bought them an advent calender...definitely will do this for next year. They are only 7 now and I'm really just learning to quilt. I have a couple irons in the fire now. But next year...... I can't wait. Thanks for the idea.

Wonderful idea and spectacular tutorial!! Thanks. This could be a spin-off of your idea: Place a small tree ornament in each gift pocket. Each day let a child take the ornament from the pocket of the day and place it on the Christmas tree.

I think that's what I will do too. Now to try to find the Christmas charms. I don't think I have enough Christmas to find 24 different pieces. Could just use more of each and change the ribbon colors.

I have a couple of packages of tiny ornaments left over from a couple of years ago ...a project that I didn't get around to doing...so I'm going to use those.
