Just another hint for u all.....I use to make antique dolls and folk dolls, the older the better. One day I was walking in the woods and found walnut shells and decided to boil them and wow, they are great for dying fabric. Kept tubs of this liquid. So I just boiled up the shells with the nuts in them and what fab dye I got...so if anyone out there has walnut trees, u r lucky.........
