Color Play with Rhonda's Star Point Blocks
#39
thank you everone for appreciating my point of view. I love playing on my EQ. If you have EQ or any software you can draw the block and put it into a 6 x 6 grid or more and turn blocks and change colors and play with it to see what you can design. It is so much fun. When I turn blocks I get stuff I would never have thought of. But by turning the blocks you get differant designs and it is kind of like playing with a kaleidoscope. The toy kind. You get differant looks by shaking up the blocks into differant positions or by changing the colors. Try it -it is sooo much fun!!
For those of you who are color challenged or have trouble thinking of designs - just take a star point block or a Boston block etc and draw them into your program. If you don't know how to do this I can show you if anyone wants to see how. Then use any size grid you want and put the blocks in the grid. Turn the blocks and try out lots of differant color combos and you can preview to see what you like or don't like. It is so much fun! This would be fantastic for a beginner to get an idea of how to use color and how to use my blocks to design with. It really isn't hard at all!
