Do you attach the points after you've quilted?

Many thanks. I have never attempted such things, but need to move from my comfort zone to add a bit of variety - will so scallops and prairie points this year.

Thank you - I have made prairie points and KNEW there had to be something easier than what I was doing ... I think there is a spendy tool out there but not in my budget. I am eager to give this a try.

I wondered why you would do this thing called "prairie points"and looked up other threads with that subject...so now I know! I love this Board! I have learned so much. And you are so clever to have thought of this really neat method. Thanks so much for sharing.

I don't think you add a binding. You sew the points onto the front panel only and later turn under the batting and backing a quarter inch and blind stitch. If others have another way to do it, I'd be interested too. Also, I saw some samples where they didn't use the PP facing outward but facing inward instead, then put on the binding. Interesting effect.
