I saw your original posting and loved the fan mug rug. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and post the tutorial. I too had a question in your original posting about your backing and appreciate you showing how that was done. Your quilting is fabulous - - feathers in each of the 8 blades!!!

Also, a GREAT BIG THANKS for posting a picture of your final product at the first part of your tutorial. It is sometimes so frustrating to page through a long tutorial only to realize at the end that it is probably something that I would never do. I think posting a final product picture at the very first is a good thing to do.

Very clever! I bought a ruler that has markings for different lengths of the blades. Must have to try this. Thanks for sharing. :)
