Use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They work great on an iron.

What a cute quilt....and great tip. I end up getting that sticky stuff all over and that will help solve some of my problems.

Thanks... great tip and I will try the Mr Clean Magic Erasers on my iron! I love those things, we buy the costco size!

Great tip, thank you for sharing it.

I discovered that hand sanitizer works well for taking a variety of permanent stains off surfaces. Years ago I came to work one Monday morning to discover the colour printer on my desk had leaked ink all over it. The Formica top was stained and I despaired of getting it off. When regular cleaners did nothing, I grabbed the hand sanitizer from my desk and it all came off. I have the alcohol gel type, not the stray.

Your quilt is lovely. Looks warm and cuddly, just as a quilt should.
