    Oh, thank you so much. Now, I can handquilt in the recliner block by block and put them all together when I am done. Learning on a daily basis - I call it "LQBQB" Learning Quilting by the Quilt Board.

    I use this method all the time. I find that if I use a small print for the backing you have to look really close to see the seams.

    same way put you top and your batting and back quilt but leaving 1/4 all around then join of course you still measure as always to get your border right
