I like it best without doing the last step to make it an Arrowhead block, lol, so I may play with that idea. Also wondering how it would look if all four blocks were different, but co-ordinating. Another idea to play with! Thanks for the tute!...

I like to encourage others to play with their blocks and see what else they can come up with. Never limit yourself to just a pattern and have fun with it.

Carrie, thanks so much for your detailed explanations. Like this variation on the DP4. Another way to use the stash.

What a great idea to make a miniature quilt.

A note: had to add the "2" on the end of my name. was going through 'withdrawal' could not make comments or play those word games.

this is one of my favorite blocks.
I just learn an easier way to do it.
I just do not know how to get it viewed.
it is in a book called Rotary Cutting Revolution.
it is by Anita Grossman Solomon.
it shows new one steip cutting of 8 blocks.
i guess i can mail you a copy if you want.

There is a new tut on the board for a different way to do it too. I saw it a couple of days ago.
