Thanks so much for the tute! I have never done plastic templates before, so was pretty bewildered. For me a picture is worth a thousand words! I'm doing the FW quilt also.

I never thought about making templates using anything but quilter's template plastic.

I must learn to think out of the box more.

Agree! I think making the finished size templates and using a rotaty cutter and ruler to cut them. Just one question, wouldn't it be easier to rotary cut squares and subcut them to triangles than to make templates of simple geometric shapes trace them and cut them out be hand?? That being said, your pictures are nice and clear!

I have taken a paper template to our local glass cutter and had them make one of 1/4 inch plexi glass.
