How to make a Twister Christmas Tree

Here is the pattern for the twister christmas tree like I did it.
This one is done by using the mini twister tool (tool size is 2 by 2 )

After sewing all blocks and borders together, the size is 36 3/4 by 46 inches. (before cutting with the tool)

When all twister pieces are sewn together, it measures approx. 20 by 25 inches.(without Borders and Binding)

Now, you can add borders the size you like and finish your quilt the way you like.

You can also add little gifts as applique or stars. My stars and little gifts are appliqued by using a golden colored thread and small zic zac stiches on my sewing maschine.

How many 5" squares across and down did you do, if I go by your measurements I would guess at 8x9? Someone was saying in the other thread that you sew them together in a pyramid shape? Any help would be appreciated as I would really like to try this.

As far as I know, there are 3 different sizes of twister tools. The mine Twister tool measures 2 by 2 inches, the medium on is 3 by 3 inches. there is also a large twister tool, but I don't have it so I don't now that size.

Nice for Christmas - I've only done a small sample of the twister design to try it out, and was surprized how easy and quickly it went - I've seen somewhere on this, (or manybe another site) a person can make their own tool, originally it was from some magazine before there were nice plastic templates!

Thank you very much for preparing this brilliant tutorial. I don't think I'll get one done this year but definitely will for next.

I love this tree! Thanks so much for your tutorial. Can you tell me on your mini twister tool, how far in is the off-set X so I can draw it on an existing pexi-glass square I have? Thanks for your help.
