Default 5 Point Star Block Possiblities

After thinking about how to cut out the pieces for the 5 Point Star block, I realized that some of the newer quilters may not know how to go about it so I decided to add another illustration showing what some of the possibilities are.

Hope this helps get you thinking.

The bottom right looks like it would be easier.Don't know if I will ever get to making one. List is so long.
    Thanks for doing this tute.

I think so to and the fact that you can sew it without doing "Y" seams is a plus for me.

Thanks- I have done the top type and the y seams are hard, but I guess there is a bunching issue in the centre of the second one, as well as involving more sewing.

Thank you love how you made each pic "pop" by using different shades!
