Fold fabric over edges of paper, wip stich at corners (no need to remove stiches) Aftersewing remove pin.When hexie are sewn together you may carefully remove paper. I use pointed tweezers , paper can be reused several times.

are you just whip stitching the corners? And how are you joining the hexes together after doing that? Are you using a ladder stitch or something similar? And is this all done by hand? Thanks, just trying to understand as I really want to do one of these. Sorry for all the questions.

Lately, I have been very interested in starting a GFG project. This tute is a great way showing how to cut the fabric. And I see how it can be used to cut the paper hexes. But how do you calculate the size of the paper hex?
