I made several of these table runners, and plan to make more for Christmas gifts. The pattern I used (a kit)didn't ask for the batting and it works just as well. Then you really can do it in 10 minutes. I love these quickie ideas for gifts.

"put back side together and sew" I got lost at this point. Perhaps I'll just have to follow the first steps then I will see what happens. I can't figure out how two pieces of a rectangle form points on the end. What am I missing?

love this pattern. I used flannel instead of batting for a lower loft. Keeps the point from getting so "fat". Can't figure out how to post a picture in this note or I would.

My quilt shop gave me 5 listed instructions, and I could not figure it out :-(
but found the online one and really helped. Oh, if you goggle 10 minute table runner a bunch will be listed.....Go though them and find the one you need....That's what I did....

Karen, thank you for your picture. I now find it very clear how the points are formed. I could not tell it from other pictures I have seen. I an a VERY visual person. Printed instructions seem to confuse me for some reason. LOL
