Sandy, Thank you for the information. I did not know who created the runner as it was something one of the ladies in our group made and showed us. It is very easy and we all made one, without a pattern, just by looking at hers.

I made one the the receiver did not want batting in it. I use interfacing instead.

Center fabric 10"

I do like your sizes better as I think the wider border is more attractive. Will post my Christmas runners when they are finished and I am going to use your sizes and warm and natural batting as I like the way they look with that type of batting. thanks.
I LIKE THE BIGGER SIZE AS WELL, HAVE A PATTERN BUT LIKE THIS IDEA FOR SURE, HAVE NOT MADE IT YET BUT A GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR SURE. EVEN THOUGHT OF MAKING ONE FOR EACH SEASON AND GIVING IT AS A GIFT AT WORK AS A SET. ALSO WOULD B A NICE GIFT FOR A WEDDING, SINCE PEOPLE HAVE EVERYTHING BUT SOMETHING HOME MADE IS SO NICE AND USEFUL DONT U THINK.........ALSO, IN DOING IT IN SEASONS, WILL ALWAYS MATCH WHATEVER COLORS SOMEONE WOULD HAVE......WHAT U ALL THINK...... :mrgreen:
