OK Seriously. This is my post, and I gave credit to Brenda Henning and I got it from a book I purchased and chose to share on this board. We know she is also Bearpaw productions. WOnder why you felt the need to add to MY post? By the way, I notice you haven't started any of your own topics and sounds like you would have some wonderful ideas to share. Hope to see some in the future.♥♥

Well, who'd a thunk, not me. Great thinking to save the day if sewing strips. Thanks for the idea Deb. PS, I did read your acknowledgement of the author of this idea and know that you are just being a good soul passing it on to us.

Now that you've pointed it out, it does seem kind of obvious. But I never would have thought of it!! TFS.

My problem is that as long as we accommodate this type of poor workmanship by continuing to pay for these products, the products will never improve.

Would you accept WOF that was 41 when advertised as 42?

Love the way you think!

Actually, yes I would. We do it all the time. Like when it says 42" wide but there is a large white selvedge taking up an inch of the fabric. I think that is why pattens call for "wof" instead of stating inches. And I'm not sure lack of advanced tools is the same as poor workmanship.
