Thanks Ube! I've been studying your quilt and had figured it out, but this helps tremendously! Will try this (some time or other) after I am no longer working on red and black.....

I love how your quilt is coming along, beautiful, i was just wondering if the bottom purple is backwards. I am new to quilting so i could be totally wrong. I apologize if i am wrong.

This gives a different twist to the pattern. Now make the small triangles the same dark blue. That makes that wall a solid. I like that very much.

Or you could have a dark blue on one side and a medium blue on the other....giving you two different color walls with the light running through...hmmmm....might have to try that......
