I LOVE the pattern. But most of all, I think after reading the first steps in the tute, that I finaly feel like I understand paper piecing. I am such a novice. My Mom taught me to make these sorts of things by cutting jillions of small pieces and ironing and then sewing them together. I think as soon as I finish up the couple of projects I have sort of hanging around in my head, I will have to try some PP.

it is very difficult doing it the paper piecing way getting your seams to match up for me it is, I am finding that cheating and using the fat quarters and believe you me I am still really new I am making table runners, pot holders and trying to get my guts up to tackle a quilt because I will need a Queen size for my bed. I have been making some throw pillows and today I found the cutest frog quilt which I think will try to tackle for a throw for my living room. and I also found 2 different purse patterns that I like

Great tute, Sherryl! I haven't forgotten about your block. Things have been so busy since the beach retreat but I'll get it finished this week and will post a picture when I'm done.

This is what I get for getting busy and not checking the quilting board. This is absolutely fabulous. Is it too late to get the pattern pieces. Love, love, love the block and the colors chosen.
