Fantastic! I'm going to make some of these to attach to gifts, instead of using bows. Thank you!

Hi Sparky's Mom. That's a really nice ornament. My quilt guild does a Hospice tree every year for charity and we are always looking for easy and striking ornaments. This fits the bill. Does anyone know if there is someone we need to contact before using the technique? I see another message mentions Katrina's Tutorials blog. If that's the one, I'll contact her but would also like to use your tutorial as it's very clear.

Sparkey's mom, you did a beautiful job on your tutorial for the Cathedral Window Christmas Ornament. Your pictures are great. These can also be made with triangles.

Someone asked about permission to make. The Cathedral Window is an age old design which is in public domain and does not require permission to be made. It is my understanding that you cannot copyright a technique.

I will be making these for Christmas, thanks for posting. Happy Stitching to all!!!

Thank you for the beautiful ornament tutorial. I appreciate the time you took to post the instructions with the photos.
I will be making these ornaments to tie on my packages and decorate my bags. Also, I'll make them as gifts to my quilting buddies.

Wishing a day filled with too many blessings to count.

Thanks for posting the link. Although I couldn't find where I first saw it, I can tell you it was NOT this site. Just goes to show a good idea can spread across the internet like coat hangers in a closet can multiply. :D
