Get 8 of them, then get your 4 squares from clue 2, and sew two rectangles on each side like Missy shows in the first steps. You should still have 8 color one rectangles left. Now on to the 3inch squares from the second accent and background, follow the tutee to make your half square triangles. Sew each of the left rectangles (8), inbetween two HSTs. Does this make sense? |

So were we suppose to square up clue 2? Or did I end up wrong somehow? I went to sew my color 1 rectangles on but they don't fit. :( my clue 2 block is just a smidge over 4.75 inches. And the rectangles are 4.5? LOL my machine even has a 1/4 in marking. I don't know where I am off. Anyways I just wanted to make sure that I should cut down clue 2 to 4.5 in squares. Gah! Where did I mess up? :)

Thank You very much
the solid is really brown to match the brown in focus fabric but it look black in photo. Looking forward to Clue 4 .. gee this is so much fun judy |
did I screw up my cutting?my rectangles are 1/2 " short on my clue 2 squares. the squares finished at 5" and my rectangles are 4 1/2" so of course this is confusing me.
|
And this is just trying to figure out clue #3.
I think its going to be confusing to me as we do a part then wait a week and then my mind has to rethink what Im doing instead of just going forth on the project. |
