WOW! Thanks for all the encouragement and wonderful resources, Klue. I'd be clueless (couldn't resist) without you.

Rhonda, your blocks look fantastic! Thanks for taking the time to share your method.

NorBanaquilts, I see you've been really busy, also! Great job on your blocks.

Feeling like an underachiever, I've not thought about the fabric selection yet for week 2 LOL. I'll get there, though.

Have a great evening, RETRO

I was just updating my journal and I noted next to the block for BR2 to watch the bulk on the horizontal seams, I had to trim them nice and neat otherwise there was a lot of fabric to get through. And it made me wonder if that's part of the reason the DJ software grouped BR2 in such an odd fashion, to reduce bulky seams.

thats an excellent point and you've might have hit the nail on the head.

it is an odd way to put the triangle together and there must be a reason.

Week 2 blocks, they look really off in the photo but I think it's just the angle.

kluedesigns 01-13-2010 11:56 AM

they look great!

so times mine don't photo well either. i think the paper underneath just gets in the way sometime.
